Organic farming is another way of agriculture based on methods such as crop rotation, green manure (which performs the vital function of fertilization), biological pest control (a function that controls and reduces the pests' appearance) and mechanical cultivation, in order to maintain soil productivity and control pests, with limited use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, feed additives, genetically modified organisms, and so on. These are the main techniques used. If you want more information on that topic you can visit Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page) and the Organic Farming Research Foundation (http://ofrf.org/index.html) where you canfind many updates on organic farming in more detail.
In general keep in mind that the main objective here is to replace all synthetic chemical essences with natural ones.

It's true, and to use a quote from a mega empire-builder corp that is not so interested in 'saving the world': "Every little helps!"
I have just used a application on Facebook called SuperBadger, great opportunity to send important letter to people in order to put pressure on them to act in favour of people and places around the world, check it out!

11th Hour does an admirable job of tracing back our environmental woes to our individual habits; it makes me wonder if Leo's habits any more environmentally friendly than other movie stars...

You are absolutely right about that. And even if they do sell them, the sales percentage is minor. I read in an article that in Greece sales of green cars only reached a 0.2% of total car sales last year. There should be some motivation from both the industries-to send the right messages about the qualities and advantages both for the environment but for the consumers as well- and from the publics that need to realize, the environmental issues won't be solved magically. They will need to act as well.

Green cars came to the save of the environment. In Europe though, even if people know about them, there hasn't been a good 'promotion' of them and in some of other european countries they are not even sold yet.
